Department: 03050 GCMG LC Cardiology MCP: 1001 Blythe - Pediatrics: Cardiology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: M-F FT Day shift Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25 Essential Functions: - Assesses patients' needs upon admission and utilizes the nursing process in providing responsible patient care. - Documents all significant information on appropriate patient record. - Communicates significant information and collaborates with teammates responsible for, or involved in, the care of the patient. - Anticipates changing patient care needs and department situations. - Resolves patient related problems within scope of responsibility. - Participates in the facility's Performance Improvement program. - Follows organizational policy and procedure and department protocols and serves as a resource for others. - Demonstrates age-specific competency in clinical practice environment. Physical Requirements: General hospital environment with frequent exposure to chemicals, pathogens and patient blood and body fluids. Environment is climate controlled.
