QA/QC Manager – Los Alamos, New Mexico Job Description: Apollo Mechanical Contractors is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead project quality programs within nuclear, DOE and other high‑security construction environments. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the project quality program, ensuring all work meets applicable codes, specifications, and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: · Develop, implement, and manage the Project QA/QC Program in accordance with nuclear/high‑security requirements and company quality standards. · Lead and supervise QA/QC inspectors, including task assignment, mentoring, and performance oversight. · Plan, perform, and document a wide variety of inspections (dimensional, visual, weld, installation, equipment, piping, etc.). · Ensure subcontractors and vendors comply with project quality requirements; coordinate inspection activities across all project participants. · Manage and oversee non‑destructive examination (NDE) activities including scheduling, documentation, and acceptance review. · Review, submit, and track QC technical submittals, ensuring timely approval by customer representatives. · Serve as prim...
