Job Specialist III-REC (Haitian/Creole Bilingual) - ( 260002HA ) Description The Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) administers the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program which provides temporary income assistance to Massachusetts workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own and who can work, are available for work and looking for a job. The Job Specialist III interviews customers for unemployment insurance programs; explains program policies and procedures to customers; refers customers to other agency programs; reviews customer data and provide customer assistance; and performs related work as required . Duties include but are not limited to the following: Interview customers of agency unemployment insurance (UI) programs, by telephone, in person or virtual, to obtain record and input to UI Online or other agency system as needed, to determine initial and/or ongoing eligibility of customers for programs and services.
