How you make a difference The Pharmacy Technician's primary role is to dispense medical prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Additionally, the Pharmacy Technician performs administrative duties such as data entry, inventory management, and prescription billing. They must maintain a high degree of accuracy and adhere to all state and federal regulations related to pharmaceuticals. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Pharmacy Technician license/certification as required by state of employment. Experience: - Prefer a minimum of one (1) year experience. - Familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Licenses/Certifications: - Pharmacy Technician license/certification as required by the state of employment. Current CPR Certification.
