Maintain the grounds and buildings of the Sedgwick County Parks Department keeping them clean and safe for park users and staff. This position will be assigned to either Lake Afton Park or Sedgwick County Park, but may be temporarily reassigned as needed due to high workload or absences. Maintenance: - Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing & trimming, string trimmer use, herbicide application, and watering. - Use proper PPE and procedures to trim trees, apply chemicals, and operate machinery, including mowers, trimmers, and power tools. - Perform landscaping maintenance and updates. - Repair and maintain buildings including painting, drywall, and carpentry. - Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, and other building issues for structures on Parks property. - Assist with plumbing repairs inclu...
