Pay Range: $10.00 - $12.00 Cashier – Job Description: “Consistently Create Encore Experiences that Enrich Lives One Person at a Time.” CASHIER: Class specifications are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed by employees in the class. DEFINITION: To serve the customer by creating encore experiences to ensure complete satisfaction through quick, friendly, and superior service. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives direction from the stores management team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all customers 2. Explaining menu and answering product questions as raised by customers. 3. Taking customers’ orders accurately 4. Relaying the order to the kitchen staff 5. Accepting payment from customers and making change correctly 6. Operating the cash register and being responsible for cash receipts 7.
