The West Midlands County Lines Task Force is recruiting for Police Staff Investigators, on the Safeguarding and Exploitation Team. The West Midlands County Lines Task Force is a joint, Home Office and West Midlands Police funded programme, which is dedicated to tackling the exploitation, violence and drug trafficking associated with County Lines activity. The Task Force work to safeguard vulnerable children and adults, disrupt organised criminal networks and close County Lines. The successful candidate will work as part of an investigative team, gathering and securing evidence to identify suspects and support criminal investigations. You will take written statements from witnesses as directed by the Sergeant or investigating officer, following the guidelines to achieve best evidence in criminal proceedings. The PSI will ensure enquiries are carried out expeditiously as directed by the Sergeant or investigating officer in accordance with investigation policy.
