Feed Mill Maintenance Tech

Job description

Position is at the Feed Mill, Comer, GA. Schedule: Monday - Friday - 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain, diagnose, repair, rebuild, adjust, perform preventative maintenance and install equipment within and around the facilities so as to keep the production operational and to ensure a safe operation of machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems in the Feed Mill. Benefits: - Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures - Dismantle machines and Move machines and equipment. - Required to be trained as a mill operator - Assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors and pelleting equipment - Will be assigned to a specific area in the feed mill for housekeeping - Will be trained to be a Forklift Operator and Shuttle Wagon Operator - Clean, lubricate and repair Feed Mill machinery - Routinely will perform welding, adjustment and component replacement of milling equipment - Perform Preventative Maintenance on Feed Mill equipment - Coordinate with Feed Mill Manager about repairs and maintenance - Perform inspections as required - Keep accurate and organized records of maintenance work performed - Perfo...
