Job Summary The Anesthesia Technician supports the anesthesia team in delivering safe and efficient patient care by preparing equipment, assisting with procedures, and maintaining anesthesia supplies. This role involves working under the supervision of anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to facilitate smooth and effective operations in areas requiring anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a sterile and organized environment, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring readiness for a variety of procedures across all patient populations. Essential Functions: - Prepares anesthetizing locations by setting up, calibrating, and maintaining monitoring devices and anesthesia equipment for scheduled procedures. - Assists anesthesia providers with aseptic or sterile techniques during non-invasive and invasive procedures, including airway management and intravenous or arterial line placement. - Monitors and reports abnormal changes in patient vital signs or physical appearance to anesthesia providers. - Obtains and stocks anesthesia supplies in operating rooms, labor and delivery suites, and other procedural areas to ensure read...
