Min USD $47.65/Hr. Max: USD $73.86/Hr. Overview: The Nurse Manager - Surgery maintains the clinical care aspects of the patient care unit on a 24-hour basis in collaboration with the Clinical Director. Assists in the development and evaluation of the nursing personnel. Services as clinical resource person to the designated unit. Provides direction to the nursing staff in utilizing the nursing process and assuring continuity of care for patients of all age groups. Coordinates care by monitoring length of stay, assisting with transition planning for patients moving from the acute care setting. Collaborates with the Transition Care Team of RNs and Social Workers. Collaborates with physicians to provide nursing care to meet established patient outcomes.
