Job Description Summary Job responsibilities require both independent, self-directed efforts, as well as team efforts working together with engineers and other technicians. You will work closely with our engineering and technical team to build prototype systems and test apparatus, and run tests. You will also be responsible to support the building, operation, and maintenance of test facilities and equipment. Applications for our development efforts include advanced aircraft and propulsion systems, sensing and control systems, as well as high energy systems. You will be expected to have the ability to support the testing engineers and to assist in building mechanical and fluid systems with knowledge of machine parts, electronics wiring, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, actuators, drive motors, and control systems. You will work with high pressure systems, vacuum systems, pressurize liquid fuel systems, and high-flow rate compressors. Some travel to external facilities (GE or customer) may be needed to support programs.
