Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Cell Profiling Research Scientist III at UL Research Institutes Chemical Insights Research Institute (CIRI) , based in our Research Triangle Park area facilities. The Laboratory Cell Profiling Research Scientist III, under general direction, assists in conducting laboratory toxicology research to support CIRI’s mission of advancing human and environmental health. This role primarily supports the generation of high-throughput high-content imaging (e.g., Cell Painting) data by performing laboratory experiments, generation, analysis, and interpretation of experimental data, operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and preparation of data summaries and written reports. This role may also support generation of in vitro transcriptomics (i.e., next generation sequencing) data in parallel. This role works under the supervision of and in collaboration with other research scientists to ensure that all laboratory experiments and measurements are accurate and technically sound.
