Shared Services: IS Service Line Support Team (Full-Time, Day Shift) - Job Summary: The EHR Application Specialist 3 is responsible for the ongoing design, build, testing, validation and ongoing support of mission critical application(s). In addition, this position requires the ability to independently interact with clients and demonstrate superior critical thinking and follow through skills when developing solutions to identified issues. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Perform other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or a related field required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum four years of experience in healthcare, information technology or a related field required. Minimum four years of experience with Epic or other healthcare systems is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the business/operational area supported by application. Knowledge and understanding of related Information Technology trends and applications.
