Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian contractor for a Full time Registered Triage Nurse at the Dumfries Ambulatory Care Clinic in Dumfries, VA. This contract position offers: - Flex 36-40 hours - 13 hour shifts Week 1 Mon, Wed, Fri 7am-8pm EST Week 2 Tues, Thurs, 7am-8pm EST and Saturday 6am-2pm EST - Outpatient Setting - No On-Call - Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Life Insurance - Opportunity to Care for our Active Duty, Retiree's and their families - 11 paid federal holidays (no Sundays or on-call responsibilities) Essential Functions: - Evaluating patients by conducting physical examinations or interviews. - Reviewing medical history and determining symptoms and severity. - Monitoring vital signs. - Initiating emergency treatment if necessary. - Sorting patients into priority groups. - Communicating patient status to doctors and nurses. - Providing education to patients and families. - Transporting patients to appropriate treatment areas.
