Welder SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Mechanic that will be responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials. Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications RESPONSIBILITIES: - Load and unload equipment and materials - Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials - Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blue prints and specifications - Assist engineering with prints and documentation design - Conducting daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions - Basic problem solving techniques and troubleshooting; as related to welding component parts - General cleanup and clearing of debris - Lifting up to 50 lbs and walking a minimum of 10 miles a day in various weather conditions - All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 4 years of relevant experience Welding Certification (State) (required): *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - Strong teamwork orientation; detail orientation; strong organizational skills - Active listening skills and effective...
