Job description

Position Summary: Performs semi-skilled work in operating a variety of material handling equipment in the transporting of component parts and finished goods. Responsible for setting up production lines while maintaining inventory accuracy by scanning parts to and from proper locations. Further duties include maintaining assigned forklift, reporting of any maintenance or damage to equipment, right-sizing and processing inventory, and providing material handling support for production lines to ensure schedule attainment. Duties and Responsibilities: - Operates a variety of material handling/forklift equipment including Conventional, Stockpickers, Reach Trucks, Tuggers and Walkie Stackers. This could require getting on and off your lift throughout the shift. - Correctly and consistently use visual management and safety alerts. - Moves inventory in and out of production and warehouse areas correctly. - Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning parts to and from proper locations. - Right-size/consolidate inventory to 80% utilization using the correct LPN types and storage media. - Performs daily inspections on forklifts according to checklist/Infolink. - Safely maneuvers the facility on f...
