POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of Custodial Leadership, the Custodian I cleans and sanitizes to provide legendary experience to members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensures facilities are attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintain upkeep of assigned areas and equipment. Performs duties including mopping, cleaning and sanitizing restroom surfaces, dusting, trash removal, window washing, vacuuming, cleaning bases of exercise equipment, seasonal activities consisting of snow removal and general cleaning.
