- Permanent Night shift – 11.30pm – 7.30am with Sunday night start - 3 months training on dayshift required - Stable opportunity with a great team culture About the Role: We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Coburg Food Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a night shift roster, with day shift for the first 3 months for training. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery. - Working alongside operations team to ensure minimal downtime. - Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity. - Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, understanding production demands. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing. - Become involved in continuous improvement initiatives and project work.
