Job description

Carry out drilling operations as necessary in accordance with customer drilling program requirements and approved Noble policy and procedure. Implement and uphold safety and environmental compliance requirements. Operate/Monitor rig drilling equipment and support systems under the direction of the Drilling Section Leader. Perform/supervise drilling rig operations, maintenance, and house-keeping duties and material preservation activities as directed by customer requirements and Noble policy and procedure. Provide direct supervision of the drilling crew in support of on-going operations. Ensure well control for on-going drilling operations, maintaining safe operating conditions for company assets and safety of rig based personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent. - 6+ months of experience as an Assistant Driller. - Completion of all training requirements for the position within designated time period. - Valid Well Control Certificate. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in office applications and other systems required for the position.
