In addition to the routine tasks, a Radiologic Technologist assumes responsibilities of designated area(s) and assists other departments when available. Key Accountabilities: Completion of requested x-rays in a timely manner that are of high-quality. Essential Duties: Greets and escorts patient to the appropriate room. Obtains the patient's history to ensure proper scheduling. Asks female patients of childbearing age the date of their last menstrual period and ensures that there is no possibility of pregnancy. Prepares the patient for procedures by explaining the exam and answers his/her questions as best as possible.
