About the role Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. We’re looking for a Corporate Accountant to join QIC’s Finance team in a permanent, full-time role based in Brisbane. Working closely with the Senior Accountant, Corporate, this role supports accurate financial, statutory and management reporting across QIC’s Australian and international corporate entities. You’ll play a key role in month-end processes, financial reporting, taxation and compliance, while contributing to continuous improvement across corporate accounting operations. Key responsibilities: - Maintain and control accounting records for QIC Australian and international subsidiaries and associates. - Support month-end close, including journals, reconciliations and account analysis. - Assist with preparation of annual financial statements and statutory reporting. - Review corporate payments, receipting processes and balance sheet reconciliations. - Prepare taxation records, statutory returns and supporting work papers. - Liaise with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries. - Support compliance with financial policies, delegations and internal controls. - Identify process improvem...
