Job Posting Title: Clinical Nurse Supervisor Hiring Department: Dell Medical School Position Open To: All Applicants Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40 FLSA Status: Exempt Earliest Start Date: Immediately Position Duration: Expected to Continue Location: AUSTIN, TX Job Details: General Notes The Dell Medical School is seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor for the Ambulatory Clinic. Purpose: The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that care is coordinated, services are delivered, and care is managed appropriately within designated clinical units. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor supervises all clinical support staff (RNs, LVNs, CMAs and technicians) and provides training, mentoring and coaching as necessary. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Supervises and oversees the daily activities of clinical support staff within assigned ambulatory care units, including staffing schedules to effectively meet the needs of the providers and patients. With the support of the Nurse Manager, ensures staff are adequately onboarded, continuous training and competencies are completed and provides regular coaching and feedback, as necessary.
