Manufacturing Engineer

Job description

Role: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Indianapolis, IN Duration: 12 Months Pay rate: $65/hr. - $78/hr. Job Description: - 8+ years in facilities/utility engineering/AutoCAD/Pharma background. - Design, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain utility systems (HVAC, chilled water, steam, compressed air, process gases, etc.) for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. - Develop and review P&IDs, equipment specifications, and engineering calculations to ensure system reliability, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. - Provide technical support during capital project design, installation, commissioning, and qualification phases. - Conduct root-cause analysis on utility/facilities issues and implement preventive maintenance or upgrade solutions. - Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and project teams to minimize downtime and support 24/7 manufacturing operations. - Ensure all work complies with cGMP, FDA/EMA guidelines, and internal engineering standards. - Comments for Suppliers: Must have experience in Pharma background.
