We currently have a full-time opportunity for an experienced Grounds and Gardens Person. Join our Health and Education team to maintain and improve the landscaped areas, garden beds, hard landscaping and general grounds of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The Grounds and Gardens person is responsible for maintaining a professionally presented and safe environment for our staff and customers. Reporting to the Building Services Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. The role is Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm with potential overtime available What You’ll Do (key responsibilities): This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Maintain and improve the landscaped areas, garden beds, hard landscaping Ensure all work complies with hospital safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements. Ensure safe use, storage, and disposal of paints, solvents, and chemicals. Comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards.
