Posting expires: March 27, 2026 Salary range: $42,582 - $52,228: General Description and Classification Standards: The Wastewater Collection Operator I is responsible for operating light, medium, and heavy trucks and construction equipment for the Office of Linear Infrastructure Operations. Duties include, but are not limited to: operating vehicles, machines, and preparing necessary documentation. Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision and follows standardized procedures and written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks; may assist in training, orienting, or observing lower-level associate, apprentice, or semi-skilled employee in the group. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operates multiple vehicles and equipment during the course of completing daily assignments. The vehicle may be a dump truck; state body truck, or an automobile for errands and personnel transportation. Operates landscaping equipment such as construction equipment, small trench digger, and commercial mover. Directs equipment and vehicle inspection to ensure that equipment is operable.
