Job Description: Full Time Rehab Aide: 9:30am-6:00pm (Monday-Friday) Work every 4th weekend What you will do: *Assists with routine patient care activities by setting up equipment and treatment area as directed by therapist. *Assists with patient transfers and ambulation as directed by therapist. *Movement precautions and contraindications are followed. Reinforcement of previous instructions is supplied to the patient. at all times. *Participates in patient transportation activities, utilizing various modes of transportation and handling various types of patient equipment. *Assists with group treatment sessions. *Assists patients with personal needs during therapy. Minimizes interruption to therapy. Provides physical, emotional and safety needs. *Maintains ongoing communication with Supervisor and peers. Interacts with patients, family members, guests, and other contacts within and outside of the Hospital. Reacts to changes in patients physical and emotional condition.
