Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Job description

Shift: 1:45 PM-10:15 PM Hourly Rate: $35.03 an hour + $1.50 shift differential Overhaul, repair, and test high speed production equipment which includes ovens, packaging machines, mixers, cartoners, baggers, stuffers, smoke houses, throughout the facility. High School Graduate or GED with prior maintenance experience in a production environment with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding ability. This position reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager. Must understand: Anticipated Close Date: April 24, 2026 - Drive train- Belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chain drives. - Basic electrical- 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phase. - PLC operation - Motor control - Fabrication- welding, grinding. and assembly, - Hydraulic- motors, pumps, and valves. - Pneumatics- air valves and controls. - Follow all safety, GMP's, and USDA guidelines - Can work overtime and weekends. - Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines - Understand, use and update shop prints, specifications and refer to the manufacturer manual for servicing and installation of equipment and distribution systems. - Determine workforce and material requirements, means and methods to be used in accomplishing...
