POSITION SUMMARY: Resp onsible for providing overall leadership and management of the health and well-being of the residents within the community. Full Time Overnight shift 7p to 7a & Dayshift 7a to 7p ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. - Maintains communications with Healthcare Providers of recent changes or requests for orders. - Ensures that community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations as it pertains to clinical care. - Responsible for collecting, and reporting occurrences, and if necessary, assist in developing/implementing improvement plans. - Partners with Administrator and other team members to maintain resident and team member health safety. - Partners with pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents. - Responsible for infection control practices in community. - Responsible for the safe and efficient distribution/administration of medications, injections, nebulizers, moderate wound care per state regulations, as needed when floor nurse is not available. - Identifi...
