Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Job Title: Medical Receptionist Employment Type: Full-Time: Shift : Mon-Fri, day shift and evenings Location : St. Mary Medical Center - Langhorne, PA and Nazareth Hospital - Philadelphia, PA Position Purpose: The medical receptionist is responsible for servicing all areas and completing all tasks related to the front desk area of a physician practice. As client facing professionals, this position plays a key role in representing the practice in the community. As a Medical Receptionist you will: - Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. - Optimize patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. - Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims. - Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
