Job # EE26005 Job Title Project Application Engineer – Industrial Systems Office Location Roanoke, VA preferred: Business Function/Department Industrial Systems/Project Application and Hardware Engineering Sales Territory, if applicable: General Role Description: Define project system requirements and develop system specification for Industrial Systems projects Role Accountabilities: - Develop detail system specifications for drive, motor, transformer, switchgear, sensor and automation equipment suppliers through collaboration with mechanical original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and end-user clients, per the contract and global industry standards, to ensure high quality designs and on-time delivery - Ensure “as shipped” systems meet all client requirements as defined in the project contract, including system specifications and performance guarantees, while achieving business goals and objectives - Conduct power system studies to ensure that the existing or proposed system is adequate to meet requirements of new equipment while meeting applicable global and local utility standards - Evaluate supplier proposals to determine the best technical and most cost-effective solution for th...
