Machine Operator

Job description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Review production orders and select correct machine programs - Set up machines, including tooling, inserts, offsets, and material alignment - Operate machining equipment to produce parts within required tolerances and surface finish standards - Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure product quality - Inspect parts during and after machining and perform minor repairs as needed - Perform finishing activities including deburring, grinding, and buffing - Execute phosphating processes in accordance with procedures - Verify materials and parts match production requirements - Complete production reports accurately and on time - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Monitor quality issues and support corrective actions - Train helpers on basic processes and procedures - Follow all NOV quality, safety, and environmental policies - Support continuous improvement and safe work practices - Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - 3–4 years of CNC machine operator experience - Manufacturing experience preferred - Ability to read blueprints and schem...
