Job Summary: The Teacher Assistant-Floater supports students PreK-12th grade. The Floater is not assigned to a specific classroom on a regular basis but is assigned based on the greatest need of each day. Job Responsibilities: Implements lessons plan including instructional groups per teacher’s direction. Assists in planning and developing/setting up instructional materials for classroom. Assist in administering assessments/progress monitoring. Works with the teacher in documenting academic progress through authentic observations and data collection. Utilize and ensure consistent implementation of behavior techniques and classroom management techniques and data collection. Perform Paraprofessional duties in his/her absence. Keep up on best and promising practices for education (i.e., attending professional development, participating in book studies, etc....
