Construction/PM Intern

Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and facilitate the construction and installation phases of projects by directly managing sub-contractors and/or coworkers, and providing oversight and project support for production, safety, and quality. Primarily focuses on General Contracting projects and serves as the on-site project manager, schedule and sequence turf installations. Serves as regional customer service liaison; supports Sales team by attending pre-bid meetings and presentations. FieldTurf Summer Internships are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and Construction Engineering Technology & Environmental. FieldTurf interns function in the roles of Field Engineers or Quality Control Engineers. In-the-field work includes, but is not limited to: daily take-offs, tracking quantities, day-to-day communication with inspectors and owners, attending construction progress meetings and project close outs, essentially overseeing the project for the Project Manager.
