Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, experienced Advanced Practice Nursing Specialist to join our Emergency Department team across Health Partners System. The Advanced Practice Nurse Specialist is a clinical leader such as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Nurse Practitioner (CNP). This advanced nursing practice role is focused on influencing patient care, nursing practice and organizational change. This role attends to the needs of patients in a particular population wherever they may present along the continuum of care. This role coordinates complex patient care, evaluates patient care outcomes, utilizes, and conducts clinical research, provides professional consultation, and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration. This role also develops tools (e.g., critical pathways, order sets, guidelines, protocols, and policies) which facilitate care rendered by others in basic practice. This role embeds evidence into clinical practice, leads committees and workgroups in quality improvement, and provides innovative solutions throughout the system.
