Senior Staff Product Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities MaxLinear is seeking an experienced Principal Product Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following: - Work with cross functional teams in developing complex SOC products from concept to production release and sustaining phases - Responsible for product quality, meeting product cost targets and delivering to the required timelines - Define and execute the product characterization plan and provide feedback to the design team about the performance, design margins, yields - Develop the Final Test and Probe test plans - Develop and manage product qualification requirements (Package Qual, Burn-in, ESD, Latchup) - Responsible for on-going product cost reduction efforts and quality improvements including Test Time reductions/optimization, alternate source qualifications, yield improvement - Work with suppliers/vendors to ensure overall product quality and cost - Responsible for supporting customer returns through coordination with core team members to resolve issues (Failure Analysis, Test improvements) Qualifications: - Proven track record of delivering multiple SOCs to production - Experience with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), such a...
