The Opportunity Visy Food Can is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead operations at our Shepparton site. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations in a 24/5 environment. This role is focused on aligning teams, setting clear standards and ensuring consistent execution across shifts. You’ll play a key role in lifting capability, strengthening frontline leadership, and ensuring the site operates in line with Visy’s safety, food safety and performance expectations in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop Production Supervisors and Maintenance Leaders - Drive a strong safety culture and ensure full HSE compliance - Ensure compliance with FSSC, ISO, HACCP and GMP standards - Deliver site production, quality and performance targets (OEE, waste, downtime) - Optimise labour, materials and machine utilisation for efficiency - Partner with Maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime - Maintain strong on-floor presence, reinforcing standards and resolving issues in real time - Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data (OEE, MTBF, MTTR) - Manage operational costs including labour, materials and...
