Outreach Specialist

Job description

The Outreach Specialist helps implement the company’s overall strategy, including digital and traditional outreach methods, to drive engagement, conversation, awareness, and connection within the community. The Outreach Specialist will attend events and develop promotional materials to connect the online community to promote C2 GPS programs and services. This position coordinates with internal departments, workforce Board counterparts, and the Public. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Develops outreach materials while upholding the funding Board’s brand and identity standards and follows procedures to ensure quality expectations are met. - Articulates company messaging clearly, and in a manner consistent with the Board’s and C2 GPS’s standards and organizational code of ethics. - Identifies and recommends new ways to increase participation, encourage feedback and acquire new connections. - Micro-targets underserved communities and hard-to-reach populations to expand workforce programs and services. - Proactively builds social media channels, online platforms, and in-person presentations.
