Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Site Services Engineer -Productivity and Detect . The Site Services Engineer owns and deploys Caterpillar safety and productivity solutions across customer sites. Detect represents the full safety technology portfolio, while the productivity suite includes VisionLink Productivity (VLP) and MineStar Edge. The individual in this role works directly with customers to assess operational needs, proactively recommend the right technologies, and manage the full process from quoting through installation, training, and ongoing support. Acting as both product owner and project manager, the Site Services Engineer leads multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deployments are properly planned, executed, and delivered on time. In addition to deployment, the Site Services Engineer plays a key role in proactively improving customer performance by monitoring and analyzing operational data.
