Nursery Person/Equipment Operator QUALIFICATIONS: - Accurately mix, incorporate fertilizer and shred soil for planting, heeling, and greenhouse needs according to established formulas - Load and haul soil, rock and other materials on trucks as needed and directed - Assist in loading and unloading B&B and container nursery stock as directed - Communicate problems, concerns or other pertinent information to supervisor or other personnel as necessary - Grade nursery roads as directed - Operate the following equipment in a safe, efficient, and effective manner: skid loaders, soil shredder, semi-tractor/trailer trucks, forklift, front end loaders, flattops, road grader, pesticide sprayers, fertilizer implements, farm tractors and others - Perform routine light maintenance on equipment on a daily or other scheduled basis as directed. Maintain equipment in safe working order. Communicate maintenance needs to shop personnel. - Accurately mix and apply chemical pesticides and fertilizers as directed - Perform field maintenance duties including filling tree spade holes, grubbing, and hauling trees and others as directed - Operate dumb truck over the road to haul various materials as directed...
