Work is performed under the supervision of the Operations & Management Consultant II - SES. This position performs active and passive surveillance of suspected and confirmed cases of HIV and AIDS, analyzes and disseminates data. Performs expanded HIV/AIDS Surveillance activities to identifying risk of exposure and investigates reported Pediatric HIV/AIDS cases. Maintains local HIV database used to track and assign Electronic Lab Reporting (ELR) labs sent from the State Health Office (SHO) HAL Lab Reporting System and/or to the secure folder.
