An internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Truck Driver Helper for Paris Corps located in Paris, TX Job Summary: Assists the Truck Driver in the loading and unloading routine pickups and/or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise, to serve production needs of the store and/ or general operation of corps. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers. Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army. Education and Experience: High school or G.E.D. preferred but not required, And Prior experience driving a box truck preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License (preferred) Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
