Department: 01120 AMG Waterford - Family Medicine Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 32 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Days: Four days per week: Flexibility: Hours may vary slightly when covering for a specific clinician Weekends/Holidays: No weekends or holidays required Pay Range: $21.85 - $36.15 Major Responsibilities: - Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care. - Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.). - Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered. - Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking. Point of Care testing (POCT) per standing order/provider order.
