This position is responsible for the daily activities of the City’s social media, marketing, and promotional efforts for assigned City departments. This position performs a variety of marketing duties in support of the goals and mission of the City of Temple, with a special emphasis on creativity, written communication & advertising. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists in development and execution of group sales strategies and marketing efforts - Implements social media strategies and campaigns to engage City residents - Designs social media graphics, signage, flyers and other promotional materials to support City departments - Develops monthly social media content calendars - Updates content for websites, social media, and other communication channels - Assists with content development & planning of various communications platforms - Produces, edits, and optimizes social media videos, aligns content with organizational goals - Serves as a department contact/liaison for City website(s) to ensure site content is curr...
