Job description

This is what you will do: Specialist, Safety, Health & Environment will provide environmental, health, and safety support for all operations at the Alexion Dublin Manufacturing Facility. You will be responsible for: - SHE Program Leadership and Compliance : Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) programs that meet or exceed applicable regulations and AstraZeneca standards—translating policy into site procedures, SOPs, and metrics. Example: lead annual program reviews and site audits, remediate gaps, and report performance to site leadership and Global SHE. - Operational Risk Control and Safe Manufacturing : Partner daily with manufacturing operations, engineering, and the SHE Team to embed safe work practices and ensure proper use of containment equipment and facilities in GMP environments. Example: conduct pre-startup safety reviews for new production lines and oversee permit-to-work and lockout/tagout practices on critical utilities. - Incident Management and Corrective Action : Lead incident response, injury management, investigations, and regulatory recordkeeping; drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions...
