Compensation Range: Hourly: $30.63 - $39.82 Position Summary: The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) creates innovative and engaging online courses by employing current online teaching and learning methodologies. This position works with subject matter experts to design and develop courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional development levels. The LXD provides guidance on aligning competencies, assessments, and learning objects to optimize the learning experience. The Learning Experience Designer works in collaboration with team members to oversee project management processes and resources, project documents and other related materials. Additionally, this position is expected to contribute to the following steps in the curriculum development process: Essential Functions: - Conduct needs assessment and initial analysis as part of their collaboration with NU Faculty and Course Authors (CA). - Ensure alignment of curriculum to assessment and online content. - Employ teaching and learning best practices into the development of online content. - Author original content and modify existing materials in coordination with CAs. - Incorporate digital media into the Learning Man...
