Job Title: Manager IT Department: Information Technology: Reports to: Director IT: FLSA Designation: Exempt: License Type: Key: Qualifications: - Manages IT Staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance - Manages the Helpdesk system prioritizing and ensuring tickets are worked on and closed in a timely manner - Designs, specifies, configures, installs, and maintains local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services - Develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup. - Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs - Coordinates activities of hardware, software, telecommunications, support, and training with vendors - Installs and tests software upgrades - Develops and implements disaster recovery procedures - Consults with software and hardware vendors and other establishment workers to solve problems impeding computer processing - Meets with IT staff to determine impact of proposed changes in hardwar...
