AG About the role The Senior Purchasing Manager Storage (all genders) will be responsible for leading procurement activities for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across BayWa r.e.’s global portfolio. This role owns the supplier strategy, sourcing activities, and technical-commercial evaluations for key BESS components, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance. The Senior Purchasing Manager Storage (all genders) plays a key role in shaping the global supplier landscape, driving standardization, and supporting the successful delivery of projects in close collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and Finance. By combining strong technical understanding with commercial expertise, this position contributes directly to improving competitiveness and scaling BayWa r.e.’s energy storage business.
