Description Demco is growing and is seeking an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineers for our semi-trailer manufacturing facility. Demco provides a competitive compensation & benefits package that takes into account your skills, and expertise. This position will work out of our Spencer, IA facility. Work Schedule is Monday - Thursday 6am/4:30pm and a half day Friday rotation Primary Duties: - Design and improve processes of the manufacturing systems with a strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and operating costs by implementing lean concepts and sustaining ISO - Manage projects to reduce non-value added activities - Research and implement new tools and technology, including assisting with the quoting and purchasing process - Analyze manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, and production equipment - Design and create minor jigs and fixtures - Administer and process time studies and line balancing - Develop work instructions and provide training to production personnel - Implement continuous improvement/Lean principles - Assist with design for manufacturability for new products using the 7 stages of design process - Collaborate closely with the maintenance group...
