Director Government Affairs What you will be doing: The Director of Government Affairs will provide expertise to help Premier and our members understand, shape, and operate within rapidly changing policy environments to advance high-quality, highly efficient healthcare. Specifically, the Director of Government Affairs will support the development and execution of Premier’s advocacy strategy for technology and data policy, as well as advocating for policies that incentivize technology adoption and deployment in healthcare. In addition, this position will serve as an advisor and spokesperson to members, lawmakers, the administration, and health policy experts to influence policy in a manner favorable to Premier and our members. Key Responsibilities: Responsibility #1– 35%: Policy/Strategy Development: - Support the development and execution of Premier’s policy positions and recommendations for regulatory and legislative topics including (but not limited to) technology, data, privacy, and insurance industry oversight.
