Department: 36905 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Cardiovascular Diagnostics Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Cardio Diagnostics Associate is responsible assisting the Manager, ACM, echo supervisor & EKG/MUSE coordinator in the Cardiodiagnostics department with clinical and non-clinical duties . Additionally, they will Receive visitors or patients, ascertain their needs and direct them accordingly . This position will schedule procedures and making sure that the staff is updated throughout the day. This includes checking voicemails, communicating with nurses and techs with regards to schedule changes/cancellations and coordinating with cardiology groups and anesthesiologists with regards to procedure times. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies throughout the department, keeping the supply room orderly and reaching out to different departments, such as facilities, if situations arise. Communication, organization and personal responsibility are key for this position. You will Serve as a back-up for the EKG department when needed, and assist in the Stress lab when needed as well.
